What do you think the chances are for some sort of Christmas promo or rebate thing happening for the iPod.
It sounds kind of soon for that but perhaps in conjunction with a purchase of an iBook.

I think apple should give a rebate now, like figure out how many preorders they have, then look at their predictions and figure out what they should do.

You have to spend/use money to make money. Eventually, everything will even out. OS X is getting a good rep by all the major newspapers against Windows Xpee. Even if they lose a little money from lowering the prices of da' Pod, then the sales they will make from new MAC users will match.

Belive me, i got it all down here on a napkin.

I'll bet that Apple won't even have the things finished by Christmas, if OS X is any indicator of their punctuality.
