i bought an APS external SCSI hard drive for $5 at a yard sale last week. i think it's *maybe* 500 mgs. i heard a rumor that it's the same type of drive as a regular SCSI internal hard drive, with just the external casing added. if this is true, i was wondering if it's possible crack the case open, and put a larger hard drive in there.

seems reasonable, but i was wondering if anyone had done it before or heard of it being done?

thoughts?
