Since we don't have a dedicated iPod forum yet...

Reading the report on MOSR.com and other iPod reports( even from Apple's own movies on it), I have a few questions that maybe someone familiar with FireWire and the iPod may be able to answer:

What happens if you use a firewire cable to hook one iPod to another?

What happens if you set one for firewire disk mode and the other to transfer mode?

Will the playlist files from one be transferred to another?
Will the disked iPod be an external disk for the one (thus giving 10 MB of disk space)?

Hmmm... I'm trying to see if the iPod is really a gip or not. It's beginning to look like a hell of a lot more than we took it for at first. The real question is: Is Apple getting ahead of itself again?

But if you go digging around the TIL, there are articles about how the firmware of the iPod does not allow certain types of transfers... Apple has blocked us out of a lot of stuff... I'm just too lazy to go digging around for it... I'm sick.
