I seem to remember this being covered in this forum a while ....used toast to back up files on a mac volume and now it i.) isn't recognized by my ibook ii.) will show up on my desktop through the burner but will freeze when trying to copy the files.

So I used another CD to boot my ibook, then dropped the toasted CD into the burner, now it will show up and I can copy the files back to my hard drive.

Any ideas how to pop it straight into the ibook? Are my settings just wrong, it worked fine before?
