I went to XITEL.COM and the products they offer are for PC's only. And not only that, it looks like it take your pristine virgin .wave files, and encodes them as mp3's before outputting them to your minidisc (does this just seem stupid to anyone besides me?) -- Why would anyone want to do something like that?

Did anyone else have any other alternatives on a
USB->Digital_Audio output product?

The XITEL MD-Port DG1 works fine (and is 100% digital) with the Macintosh.

Requirements:

Mac OS 9.0.4 (I have not tried it with Mac OSX Beta).

USB (I have an 8500 with a OrangeMicro USB/Firewire PCI card and Sonnet G4 upgrade.)

Music Player (SoundJam, Audion, MusicMatch, etc.)
