Has anybody ran into a problem where the sensitive button in the lower right corner stops functioning and starts to blink furiously? If so, please try to reply. It's annoying the hell out of me. Would pressing the CUDA button or resetting the PRAM work? I'm just guessing.

Hmmm, this is an odd one.

Have you tried the options that you mentioned? I don't know that they would help - but it's worth a try. Honestly, I haven't had the slightest problem with my studio display - frankly, it is the best monitor I have ever owned. Are you still under warranty, because that would probably be the best way to go.

I would probably contact Apple, even if you are not under warranty. I know that you have been dissatisfied with their support recently - but every company has support people that aren't there to help. If someone treats you like shit hang up and call back.

Anyway, good luck with your problem - let us know what the solution was - in case anyone else runs into the same trouble!

Here's what I have to say:

Damn right. And to ever think this kind of shit would be done by
Apple.

I will. I'll do my best to help you all so nobody else out there has to get stiffed an extra $49 for absolutely no help whatsoever.

It's just that I've been having many problems transporting this computer, and every time I do, something bad happens to it. Funny thing is that this kind of stuff all started to happen as soon as my year's warranty expired.

The first time I transported this thing (after the year), my video card fried, so I had to desperately look for another one, which was very hard to do. It ended up being a card about four times as slow.

The second time, just two days ago, my monitor's power button not only does not work, but flashes constantly. This is a serious problem. Apple cannot help me, that is, unless I stuff more money in their faces.

BTW it will not help if people just tell me to "call them again." Seriously, I'm not an idiot. I've tried everything. And because of this, I have wasted over 100 hours, hours I could have used SLEEPING.
