I am about to acquire a G3 Powerbook having got increasingly pissed off with using a PC.

However the one good feature of my PC is a large Hard Disk that I'd like to be able to use with the Powerbook.

I need to know if it's possible to get a casing for the hard disk that would allow me to use it as an external FireWire drive.

Suggestions as to where I can find such a thing would be very welcome.

i have a 40gig frirewire drive from transintl.com which uses the ice casing. It's a great casing (small, cooldesign), it has the oxford 911 chip (if you want to use it for DV). the ice casing itself you can but at apdrives.com for around $120.

at least i know i can get the case on it's own now. I just need to find one a bit closer to home - in the UK.
