I have an epson 740, two of them. Neither one of them in the last 3 days, seems to like printing in OS X. Every time I try to print on either of them, it just sits there with "Opening printer connection" in print center. I can delete the printer, and re add the printer. it can see the printer fine, but it just doesn't print. I don't have anything strange installed or running when I'm printing. No services, no background apps, and only mail.app to print from. any ideas?

I know this is old, but was there ever a resolution? I'm having this problem on my HP DeskJet 970Cse connected through a JetDirect 300X box. If there was a solution, it may help me too.
