I have an iMac DVSE, with OS9. When I downloaded Iomega Zip Tools and attempted to access the tools after installation I kept geeting a message saying that my zip drive was being driven by another driver. I am aware that OS9 is installed with a driver for the Zip drive, but what I can't seem to do is get the newer downloaded version of the driver to take over, so that I can access the Zip Tools. Any sugestions would be appreciated.

you will be far better off, your Mac will behave IF you rely ONLY on the Apple driver for Iomega... many posts to these forums will attest to this fact. Iomega software releases are death to most Macs it would seem...

i had a zip some years ago and it worked perfectly and with the Iomega Tools software, etc... but i gave the drive to my sister and she had trouble with it until i told her to use only the "Apple" Iomega driver that comes with MacOS...
