When printing from my iMac DV/SE to my Epson 740 printer (using regular Works word processing), it seems to cut off a little bit from each line (even short lines). I've tried resetting margins, shrinking text, etc., but it keeps doing it. Is this a printer issue, printer driver, what? And what do I do about it? Haven't used it enough to know if it does it with other applications, but not that I've noticed. My non-technical wife is ready to throw the whole thing out the window and go back to the old Mac. TIA. Peter F.

I too have recently purchased a new imac 406 and connected a new Epson EPL-5700L only to find similar results as above - loss of letters on right hand side and overlapping of letters in a stripe down the middle. This using Outlook Express and Appleworks, mainly downloading and printing stuff off the net, but also printing out software info like the imovie manual.
Have been in contact with Epson UK and they suggested all problems solved with the latest printer driver Nov 2000 version 1.06, but that is what was installed in the first place ! I expect my firmware updates should be the latest, Any ideas ?
