I have a new Microtek ScanMaker 3600 USB connected to G4 400 running OS 9.02 and I can't get it to work. It is recognized by the driver, but if I try to do the preview, scan head goes enormously slowly to the end and stops there, then nothing else can be done. I hooked the scanner to my friends bw G3 with OS 8.6 and everything works perfectly. I tried various connection configrations (hub, no hub), played with extensions, but it is always the same. The strangest thing is, the scanner behaves in a very similar manner conected to a (2 year old) Dell PC running Win98. Microtek has the worst tech support in the world, so I can't find any help there...
