This may be a dumb question, but does anyone have any idea what the "i" in iPod stands for? I seem to remember the iMac getting you on the Internet in no time, and iTunes... well, maybe the streaming radio? but what the hell is iDVD? iPod? Anyone know?

(I feel like I'm opening pandora's box with a question like this...)

It used to mean internet (iMac) but now it has turned into a sort of generic computer term that gives the application a cooler sounding name. iTunes is a much better name than Tunes or DVD. It just comletes the name iGuess.

Like said earlier, it used to stand for Internet in iMac but what it has really transformed into is Apples consumer product line. iBook, iMac, iDVD, iMovie, iTunes, iPod, etc. are targeted at consumer users and not a professionals. Pros have the PowerMac, PowerBook, DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
15" PowerBook G4 1.5 GHZ w/ 128MB VRAM
