I've got a Nomad II MG that worked just fine under OSX 10.1 with iTunes 1.x (whatever the most recent version was).
Now, I can't seem to put mp3's on the nomad anymore. I know, it's someone's way of telling me to get an iPod on saturday, but I'd still like to have it around, just in case, or to use while running, or something.
Anyway, iTunes 2 isn't writing the files as music files, at least according to the Nomad Manager, which can transfer mp3 files just fine.
Anyone else have any problems like this?

Hi,
I have a Nomad II MG too and there are no file transfer problems with iTunes since it was released.
My current version of iTunes is v.2.0.1.
Perhaps you try removing all songs from the player and start afresh.
Just a suggestion.
Good luck!

Looks like I spoke too soon.
My Nomad II MG is no longer working with iTunes
iTunes Version : 2.0.2
Nomad II MG firmware : 2.04.1
When I drag the songs from the HDD to the player, some of the songs do not show up in the player.
Out of 15 songs, only 8 were detected in the player.
However, on the iTunes device list, I could see 15 songs.
Anyways, as an alternative, I am using the Nomad Manager ver 1.0

i was in the woodfield apple store the other day, and noticed they had a nomad II MG hooked up to an iMac i think, so i transferred a couple songs using iTunes, and they showed up fine in the Nomad II MG.
However, the display of the nomad II MG is not like mine, it had some additional information (genre i think) that mine does not. I forgot to check which version of firmware it has.
And I've since figured out the issue, due to the issues i was having with my new iPod.
iTunes likes type and creator codes on it's files. So setting type="MPG3" creator="hook" makes it work just fine again.
