I've been thinking about purchasing a Wacom Graphire Tablet and mouse and I wonder if anybody has used one and how they perform. I have a 333 Imac running 8.6. My 7 year old daughter loves to draw and would also be using it alot. Thanks.

I have never used it but all of the magazines seem to like it.

Be aware that the mouse will only work when on the tablet.

I had one, and took it back because it wouldn't work when my iMac DV SE woke up from sleep. However, Wacom did address sleep problems in their latest driver release, so perhaps it is worth another look.

As for the tablet itself, I liked it and the mouse.

The Pablo http://www.kbgear.com/products/pablo/pablo.html is another option worth researching. They also have a Disney Magic Studio bundle with a special "kids" pad, called Sketchboard Studio. It requires a G3 Mac and OS 8.5.1+.

I'm currently using one and the pentool is a great alternative to the mouse
Worth every penny of it !!
I love to draw, am now able to write with the pen, it comes with painter 6 which is a great drawing program that let you use different types of pencils brushes etc...
couldn't basically live without one now.
It take about ten mibutes getting used to !
