My printer an Epson 740 will not print. I have a DVSE and when I try printing from AppleWorks it goes through all the steps to print and then does nothing after it confirms that it is done. I have checked the chooser and the printer software as best I can please help.

Did this printer ever print? Does it print from some other program from no programs?

If you have never gotten it to print, then something is most likely installed wrong.

You need to make sure you are running the current drivers. The DVSE comes with OS 9 and there are some problems, especially with AppleWorks, with the Epson drivers and OS 9.

Go to the epson site and download the update to bring the driver to compatibility with OS 9 and see if that helps.

If you have already done so, post again so we can get more information on your system and your problem.

Ok here is the whole story, It would not print I trashed all, reinstalled drivers, restarted got an error about quicktime,?, started with extensions off and got a shacking bomb,?, I have never had truble like this before, I did a system software restor, the computer has starteed up with only a few glitches like a pause in start-up and wiered poblems with OE like no text displayed in viewing window, I have not yet tried the download but I will. Trash all Epson Print Class files.

Ok I have deleted everything . Also any clues to my other problems, anyone help.
