I just ordered a wireless mighty mouse and noticed something interesting. I ordered it last night and Apple says it won't ship until the 12th. I thought that would sound alright for a laptop or something but for just the mouse? Are they just slow or backed up? Or is there a revision to the wireless mighty mouse coming? Most of you know that the 12th is also when Apple is having that big event. I doubt they would update a mouse at that big event but I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts. I'm not sure what could change about it though...

I think they are just backed up. You can't get it at CompUSA nor Amazon (only available for pre-order). I think demand just outstripped supply in this case.

The Indianapolis Apple Store says they get 10-15 at a time and they sell out the day they arrive.

My wife ordered one from Apple recently and it came much quicker than they said it would.

I also noted you can now get the wireless KB and Mouse with the new i-Mac instead of the wired version.
