So the Mac OS has a USB power feedback issue on some Dual USB iBooks. What happens, for example with the iMic, is that every time the hard disk is accessed, an audible click will appear in any audio that you are recording/playing back. Apple fixed this in OS 9.2.2.

But so far, this problem still exists in 10.1.5.

Anyone else using this comfiguration and having the same problem? I'm hoping that maybe Jaguar will fix this. Because rebooting into 9 to record audio is a pain.

I'm having a different problem. Every time I plug the iMic into my iBook 500 or my G4 933 I get logged out. I emailed Griffin about it; please do the same.

Weird, that doesn't happen to me. As for my problem, I have talked with Griffin, and from what I've been told it's an Apple problem having to do with the software that interacts with the USB subsystem.

Funny, I talked to Griffin and they told me that my problem was with the QuickTime 6 Public Preview. I'll just live with the problem, cause I love QT 6.
