I have a PowerMac G4 and a new 17" Sony DVI display. I'd like to purchase something that will allow me to:

- watch/record tv onto my mac, (iPod eventually)
- play my videogame systems (PS2, N64, etc)

If I want to easily do the above, are the following products going to be sufficient:

- EyeTV 250 (hardware)
- EyeTV 2 (software)

I think I will need to purchase a USB 2.0 card, as I don't think my machine is equipped with USB 2.0. Other then this, is there anything else I should know? Is there anything better available that I should also consider?
