I had a power surge or something, and blew a fuse on the plug that my powerstrip is plugged into. Everything else was fine (imac, printer, zip, etc.) except for my UMAX USB scanner. Now, the power light won't come on at all no matte where I plug it in.
Has anyone had this problem before? Do you think I can just order a new power cord or am I completely screwed?
I only paid $49 for it so I am not out much cash, but I've only had it for a year. Kind of a bummer.
If I can't fix, I'm thinking of just going with an Epson since you can use them with OSX.
