I have an Epson color stylus 670 and whenever I replace the color cartridge the status update reports that both cartridges are full even though the black cartridge was approximately 1/2 full prior to changing the color cartridge. Other than this quirk the printer has never given me a problem.

Has anyone experienced this strange behaviour?

It has happened to me everytime I change the color cartridge. The driver I am using is 6.3AE and Epson Monitor is version 2.1E.
