I am in the market for a new printer and am 95% sold on the Epson 980. Anyone have any thoughts about this unit or printers in general? I will be using it primarily for newsletters with pictures and text in them. Any other printers to consider in the $150 - $200 price range?
hey there.. i have the Epson 880 and it's super... not to mention quiet.. not very expensive either (i forget how much)
in addition, my friend just got the Epson 875 DCS(?) Photo Printer, and it has the memory stick slot, and he got it for like 100 bucks or somethin rediculous like that at uhh.. I think Best Buy or something..
I've got my Epson 980 sitting right next to me. While it isn't the quietest machine in the world, it certainly is a workhorse. You'll find it to be very fast and the print quality to be excellent. I'm using mine to print 100 picture directories with 15 full pages each. They're 720 dpi and they look great.
