My hard drive would not boot on my new 667 DVI. I used Norton Disk Doctor, booting from the CD with little sucess, spending over a half of a day trying to get it to work so I could optimize. When Disk Doctor would work then Speed Disk would freeze while optimizing...But the moment I disconnected the Logitech Wireless Mouse the Disk Doctor worked and the Speed Disk Optimizer is working as I write this. I had the SAME PROBLEM BEFORE, yanked the wireless mouse and Norton worked. Coincidence? I DON'T THINK SO, especially because the moment I installed Norton Antivirus version 8 today the Logitech mouse quit working, a mouse that has worked flawlessly for months. Today is when it all started AGAIN. Norton and Logitech don't get along on my system. I initially thought it was upgrading from OS 10.1.4 to 10.1.5 but now I know different.
Perhaps they can get along if I disconnect the mouse before using Disk Doctor or Speed Disk. Hmmm. That would be great...if it works...

BEWARE!

I guess you didn't see the yellow note at the top of the PowerBook forum. This is a peripherals question, not a PowerBook-specific issue, so Peripherals is where this thread goes.
