[BTP]

I have an 3 older PPC clones and I want to put PCI IDE cards to use the IDE stuff, hard drives, CD-R's, etc.

My question: I know VST and Sonnet make ones specifically for the Mac. They are about $100. I saw PCI IDE cards for PC's for $15 and up. I have a feeling that I can't use them but thought I'd ask here. I added USB and Firewire using a "PC Only" card, so I am holding out hope that I can do the same and upgrade these computers cheaply enough to be worth it. ( The processors and RAM are already upgraded).

I have a Sonnet Tempo card and have had terrible luck with it. As far as PC IDE cards, I've looked into a lot of the cheap ones and they all say no Mac support. I'd look to VST if I were you.
