Is the Mighty Mouse too small?

I just switched from a MacAlly IceMouse to an Apple Wired Mighty Mouse, and my hand has started to ache almost immediately: the MM is smaller and lower, so that the palm of my hand appears to get less support when moving the mouse.

Is this just a question of getting used to a new Mouse, or does this mean it's a bad fit?
