I remember way back when ....the PB1400 era , you could get a solar panel thing to charge the battery. I'm not sure how good it was but it would be nice to have that for my Pismo while I'm out in the country or on a boat or something.

Does anyone make or offer an affordable solution?

I saved this link a while ago.

I don't know what you consider affordable, but this will set you back a few $$. I looked into it for my iBook but it is incompatable.

Quite cool though. Now if we could get global wireless via satellite.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the 1400 in some of the photos. I wonder if these products have been updated over the past few years and are compatible with the newer Powerbooks.
