A few weeks ago, I purchased a Cinema Display. I recently noticed two stuck (or dead) pixels in the top left quadrant of the display.

The pixels are normally blue, however, if I open up a terminal window (which has a black background) and expand the window the blue pixel become darker and darker.

If the terminal window is streched across the entire screen, the blue pixels are almost undetectable.

Are these stuck/dead pixels? The stuck pixel on my TiPB would always remain 100% red even if the screen was displaying all black

They sound stick, not dead. Try softly massaging them with a cloth for a couple minutes. This actually helps sometimes.

"I thought they smelt bad on the outside."

I tried, nothing happens On my TiPB, I normally could find a "sweet spot" which would make the pixel fluctuate between stuck/unstuck. After constant massaging it would unstick the pixel.

I was wondering why the blue pixels get less noticable when I make the terminal window get bigger.
