When I startup my computer I have to wait around 30 seconds after the login dialog box appears before the bluetooth keyboard connects to the system. I also have a bluetooth mighty mouse, and that is recognized immediately. Is this normal of the keyboard? I have paired it again, but to no avail.

I noticed it did that last night, too. I have an Apple wireless keyboard and the wireless mouse, not the wireless Might Mouse. I restarted my PowerBook that I use with an Apple 20" Cinema Display and there was a delay before I could log in.

Does it do the same thing when woke from sleep mode or only on a cold boot?

I have my PowerBook set to allow bluetooth devices to wake the computer from sleep.
