Hey, what is the best webcam I can buy for my mac? It needs to be fully OS X compatible, and I have no idea which would be best. The only one I have heard of is the iBot, but I don't know if this is the best. Thank you very much!

I do already have a DV Camera, and I have tested it and it does work, I just want one that I can leave on all the time for a continuously updated online webcam, and not something that i will be using all the time outside of the house.

The Philips Toucam Pro is a very good quality USB webcam. And although not officially OS X compatable. It works fine in OS X using the 3rd party (free) macam Krause driver for OS X.
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.
