Hey guys,

You have been so helpful before and I must ask for your assitance once more. I have a LAN at home with 5 Macs and soon the PC that we have not networked yet. I have a Laserwriter Select 300 hooked up to ENET via PrinterShare on an LCIII. I was wondering if there was some way someone else has worked out to be able to print from a Windows machine to this printer. Note-I will not be using this machine, a family member will!

Thanks

Nick Magilton

You might want to check out Dave from Thursby ( http://www.thursby.com/products/dave.html ) I believe it will do what you would like (I know it works with postcript printers, but not sure if it would with the laserwriter select 300). You also might want to check if the printer has a parallel port on the back... I believe my old lw select 360 did and we had it plugged directly into our PC ...
good luck
dave
you als might want to check out http://www.threemacs.com , they have a good article on printer sharing... http://www.threemacs.com/network/add...ter/index.html
