I just picked up a soundblaster live today and I need help with a couple of things. I have the card installed in my G4/466 running 9.1. I was wondering how to get the sound control panel to recognize the microphone and I noticed that some some of the sounds, ie modem come out of the internal speaker on my mac. If anybody has input on these things esp. the mic issue I would be really grateful.

In the Sound control panel you go to the INPUTS select Creative MIC input. then your inputs should be on in any apps.
modem sounds can't be rerouted to add-on cards because Apple hardwires the audio to the built in speaker only.
