I'm looking for a way to switch between a telephone and computer source to a headset, and I wondered if anyone had suggestions on what I might need. Here's the use case:
- I have a telecom headset with a 2.5mm headset jack (it would work as a cell phone headset)
- My computer has stereo, microphone and USB connections, and I use the computer for voice calls
- My telephone has a 2.5mm headset jack
Since I know it's possible to connect that headset with it's ground, audio out and audio in conductors to either device, I am looking for a device to switch between the two. This could be a simple A/B switch or something more sophisticated. Ideas? Thanks!
