Also, the new 10 gig iPod is much better and a better deal then when it originally came out.

If I had not bought my Dual 450 MP 18/24? months ago I could have bought a Dual 1 Gig for the same price now I WAS JIPPED....
I Bought a iBook less than 2 months later it has a radeon... I WAS JIPPED...

- <font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif"> Most items get a longer warranty the longer they are in production. (Cars are a good example some now have lifetime corrosion guarantees that was not around 5 years ago...)

If you can afford an iPod you can afford insurance for it. If you don't want to pay insurance you write your own and don't cry when it all goes pear shaped....

The 90 day thing was BS, but probably smart for Apple. I was going to buy mine from CompUSA as another poster had suggested. Now that Apple is supporting the iPod for a year, I feel better about buying it from Apple. Can someone confirm that you can purchase the CompUSA warranty even if you didn't buy the product from them and at any time. I thought some guy here did something like that. Thanks.

I'm gona have to check on that though.
