So I'm planning to get an IDE PCI card for my power mac because of the rev A problem with them. I was wondering if this would work for it even though it says it for windows. Are there any better deals I could get those for?

I'm not sure about that card, but I will say that I've had great success with Sonnet's IDE (and SATA cards). They're generally more expensive than that one, though. A Sonnet 2x IDE card went on eBay a few weeks ago for around $65 plus ship. For that extra premium, though, the cards "just work."

The sonnet one is a bit expensive. I'm looking for <$50, checking ebay right now.

I would try to find a used one from someone that is upgrading their Mac to an Intel Mac.

That card wont work. It doesnt have a mac-specific rom.

here is another vote for the Tempo cards........had one for several years in my B&W notta problemo, just plug & play 4 sure
