Is there any software that will allow someone to schedule the recording of show using a Formac Studio in a manner similar tho the EyeTV? I'm looking for a solution so that I can save movies and TV from Digital cable, and then convert them to MP4 (which, I assume I can do using QT6.0 Pro). By the way, using QT, iMovie, or iDvd can I convert DV into a DVD format (or are they one in the same)?

Unfortunately there is no such software and i guess there'll never be any.

Tevion Software by itself doesn't support sceduling, but is the only software that is able to switch channels on the studio. So if you preselect the channel using Tevion you might have a chance... All would be much easier if there would be an AppleScript Interface for the studio. But since Formac isn't able to finish Tevion to make it equal to its OS 9 features I don't believe there'll be any hopes this will ever happen
