You can't link to the Apple Store online, the links expire within a few hours. But by the link text, you were talking about the Apple Remote, which can indeed be bought from both Apple online or in their stores, I think.
Regardless, if you carefully read the first link you posted, they have an online store that bundles an IR receiver and their software. You add an Apple Remote and you've got the whole setup.
