What is the native resolution of consumer DV cameras?

Those DV cameras like the canon and others around or under one $1000. What is their native resolution. I wonder if they can do full screen video?

NTSC is pretty unforgiving about this.

What do you mean by full screen video? They do full screen NTSC format. which if your Mac monitor is at 1024x768 or higher won't fill the screen unless you tell it to.
