with 1.1 updater you get a revised and re-shuffled OS along with contacts.....

contacts are a great addition...

what's next????

what other upgrades to the OS do you want to or think we'll see???

i don't think it's feasable as a calendar unless you just put your schedule for the day....but then you don't have access to change the info till you get to your computer....

any other ideas???

not so much to the OS but I want a damn remote!

also a nice new catagory would be games, put like sub hunt on there or any other simple palm games would be great, as long as they have a save option. I would pay for the games as well.

I GOT WASTED WITH PHIL SHERRY!!!

the ability to create playlists in the player. I could select songs on my player and add them to a queue. and then play the list when I am done. It's would be great when I forget to make a playlist for recently added songs. or I just feel like listening to a certain random selection.

I believe the rio's can do this, so it should not be too hard for 'apple.

After looking at the Contacts instructions I immediately noticed that the iPod could be used for synching with information services like Avant Go. These .vcf files are a very good way to download and read information on the iPod.

I would like to be able to add to a queue while I'm playing the top of the queue, WinAmp stylee. In fact, I would like to be able to do this in iTunes as well.

I think that we would see stuff that are already built in on the software.I'm talking about the clock feature.
Besides this useless feauture creating playlists would be great.
And what would be awesome in my opinion would be an option to have large texts that you can read on your iPod.It would be great if it could categorise the same subjects with its subcategories.
Ebooks here we come.I don't think this is difficult and it could be done very easily. So apple start working...

a clock would be nice, but thats problay not possible since the hardware n such. I think the playlist on the fly would be the best bet.

As I am often lulled to sleep by the smooth sounds of Coltrane, I would appreciate an alarm (w/countdown)feature in addition to a clock. A user could set the alarm to turn up the volume (or heaven forbid, play a wild eep)after a set period of time. I would set it when I commute by train. That would be so . If you knew how many times I've missed my stop. :o
There's time enough, but none to spare.

I guess the clock and playlist definitely. Expecially the clock. Not that I need a clock on the iPod, but I listen to it at night in bed as well. Just shove it under the pillow and eventually fall asleep. I'd like to have the sleep function shut it off at a certain time and not after the battery's completely drained.
