Hi,

I friend here at "work" just got a new G4. He also got a HP Connectivity card which has the Serial/USB/LocalTalk connection for the HO LJ 2100 M. So the printer is hooked up via USB and does show up in the Apple System Profiler. There's an icon on the desktop and (as far as I can tell) we have the correct on selected in the Chooser BUT as if it were an apple talk printer(????). When we print the icon flashes a page but nothing is ever printed.

I checked the HP site for updates and didn't see any newer drivers.


Has anyone gotten this combination to work?

Turns out you use the Desktop Printer util to set that thing up.
