Looking to replace my defunct laserwriter NT, I could get a new HP laserjet 1200 for about $400. Is it a good printer ? Are there yet drivers for OS X ?

What about the Lexmark Optra E312 and the NEC Superscript 1450N ? I think they are all in the same price range...

As far as I know, the LJ 1200 is pretty new so there isn't a lot of info about it. One of my friends got one for the school he works for and said it's really great. It is a Postscript printer, so I imagine OS X will support it. You may want to check out HP's website and see if they make any mention of OS X-support. I have a great deal of respect for HP printers, I've never heard anyone say anything bad about any of them.
