Some time since I last used my digital camera (A sont DSC-S30) I have misplaced the USB cable for it. I went to sony's site and looked in the replacemnt section. Apparently this replacemnet cable is made by Monster Cable and is 2 gauge with triple sheilding since they're charging 62$ for it! Any one know where I can get a replacment cable at little bit more reasonable price?

Does the camera have a unique port on it for USB as opposed to a standard connector? If so, you are likely out of luck. Sony is famous for proprietary stuff (the memory stick comes to mind) that they charge an arm and a leg for since you have no other choice.

My girlfriend lost my connector cable for my Kodak DC3400. Instead of buying a replacement cable (about $20), we bought a CompactFlash reader for about the same price. Plugs into the USB port, and works with iPhoto fine. Try checking on the iPhoto web site to see which readers are compatible, and maybe you can buy one for whatever memory card your camera uses.

Actually Paul S hits the nail on the head...it does seem to have a proprietary USB connector for the camera, and it does use a memory stick. Since I know their are memory stick readers maybe I will look in to it, but I'd still like to have the cable.
