Hi,

I just have a quick question about the physical dimensions of these 2 printers because I don't live near a store that sells them. According to Epson's web page, it looks like the 1270 is much larger in physical size than the 1280. Around 24 x 30 x 16 for the 1270 and only 24 x 12 x 6 for the 1280. These aren't exact but that is the idea. Is this true or a typo on Epson's part. I thought that the 1270 and 1280 were essentially the same with some minor tweeking done on the 1280? I was all set to get the 1270 with a CFS but then learned that the 1280 would work with it and was much smaller in size. I have a limited amount of room for it and the smaller size would in fact be worth the extra money in this case. I realize that there isn't much improvement in image quality.

thanks

fishguy
