I just put a DVR A03 in my G4 Dual 500, and burned some DVD-R.
It works great, however, I can't make it burn in 2X speed.
Does anyone know why?

Thanks

are you sure you are using 2x media?
Also one of the toast updates improved 2x media detection. be sure you are on 5.1.2 (I think that's the most recent version)

Yep for both questions.
On Discopy it allows me to change the speed though.
Thanks

Pioneer's DVR-A03 drive writes and reads DVD-RW, DVD-R, CD-R and CD-RW media, and also reads CD-ROM and DVD-ROM discs. The drive offers up to 4.7GB of storage capacity on a single sided DVD disc...

4X and 8X CD-R
4X CD-RW
1X and 2X DVD-R (General Use)
1X DVD-RW
i've written at both speeds (one-by and two-by), but haven't noticed the rhyme or the reason of the choice app to app...runnin' the ao3 in the dp...
