I have an Apple 17in Studio Display (CRT) with an ADC connector. The monitor has two USB ports built into it.

Question 1: Where is the USB controller for these ports? Is it in the monitor itself? Is it in the video/graphics card? Is it on the motherboard somewhere?

Question 2: How many controllers are there for these ports? One or Two?

Thanks!

(1) The controller is in your computer, not in your graphics card. The graphics card just passes it along.

(2) There is one port used, not two. There is a "hub" in the display.
