Does anyone have this phone? or know if it is compatible with my PB. It is not on the apple list of compatible phones http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/devices.html

I'd like to get it as I am due for an upgrade soon but the K750i which I currently use is just so fantastic - I can sync everything I need very easily - I won't be changing until I'm sure I can get what I want

It is not, no way around it till Apple updates iSync.

You can manually export/import your calendars and address book though.

Thats incorrect. Go to macosxhints.com. There IS a workaround for non-compatible phones to make them fully iSyncable

Care to link to it if you are so sure as to call me incorrect. I searched on the site you suggested and found no method to do so.

Also this comes from a sync plug in developer:

"Unfortunately creating an iSync Plugin for the M600, P990 or W950 is impossible at the moment because an iSync update from Apple will be required to add support for these phones implementation of SyncML.

These phones all use Symbian OS v9.1 and UIQ v3.0, whereas previous Symbian Sony Ericsson phones such as the older P910 use Symbian OS v7.0 and UIQ v2.1 therefore the sync agents will need to be updated for the new OS.

This is well beyond the scope of a simple PhonePlugin, which can only add support for phones very similar to ones already supported natively by Apple.

Apple have not added support for these phones in either the Mac OS X 10.4.7 or Mac OS X 10.4.8 updates. There is no indication of when this will happen either. "

AFter doing my own research since I started the thread I agree with Dark Helmet. Infact I would have quoted the same quote from the same website if he had not already.

Bit of a bummer becuase I could have had a free upgrade to the M600i but now will have to make a decision between now and 18th November , which is when my existing contract expires. I could keep the k750i, but I would like a change and the M600i was the one I wanted. Annoying!

Well for what it is worth I have had the m600 for about a month now and I absolutely love it. it isn't perfect, but for me it is worth it JUST for that awesome keypad as I send a lot of text messages.

I got over the whole syncing thing.
