sorry about the cryptic subject, but i am trying to do some research for my brother. his girlfriend just purchased a pair of quickcam pro3000 cameras so that they can talk/see each other over the net. she is a peeceer and he has an icebook. my only experence with webcams is a usb kingston vga camera witch was in my opinion a pos.

she purchased it at circuit city, and i know they carry ibot. i would imagine that the firewire camera would be alot better then usb1.1 (as are most things) but it needs to be able to communicate with hers. on the box of the quickcam pro3000 it says "works with mac os 9.0.4 with basic functions only." so i dont think this will work anyways.

can anyone tell me if they think the ibot would be able to video conference ? or is there another avenue that would be better for him?

thanks

There's someone in my head but its not me...
