hey. I'm looking for a fast agp card. I see ati's new stuff, but I no longer want to support them.

how are nVIDIA's mac drivers? stable and fast? have the odd rendering problems ben fixed (missing things, odd snow in UnrealT zeto level)? is RAVE mode supported well enough? a flashed geforce3 sounds nice...

-thanks

What's wrong with ATI? I would definitely check again at the Radeon 8500.

15" Apple Studio Display? Radeon to a Rage 128? I believe the 15" was lcd only. If you still have the radeon, try updating it. you will not be able to use an lcd monitor (disabled dvi port, still no fix).

there are many reasons. I wrote a few out, and realized where that would take the thread.

I'm inquiring as to the state of nVIDIA's drivers. I haven't seen updates on versiontracker, but I suppose they were bundled with OS updates. stability, speed, frequency of updates, implementation of RAVE, and quality of opengl are the issues. how is nVIDIA faring?

-thanks
