Doing a little hacking...does anyone know what the tip/rings/sleeve connections on the Apple Pro Speakers is? I could not find the specification in the G4/iMac technical PDFs, just a description of the overall signal functionality.

There must be a data contact, but which? If anyone has the info I would be grateful for it.
