I was under the assumption that they always existed. Now that I am looking for one I can't find it. I want a Cable Modem and ethernet or maybe wireless router all in one combo. I don't want a modem first, and then attached to a router. Does Linksys or someone else make one of these?

The Airport Base station will do the trick quite nicely, if you want wireless. Otherwise, check out MacSense.

Oh, wait... You want a Cable Modem and router all in one? I don't think that does exist. You'll need a Cable Modem and a router. Two different units.

Cable modems are usually supplied by the cable provider anyway. Mine was.
