FireWire card under OS X

	I have an Inland (VIA chipset) PCI to FireWire card that works perfectly under OS 9. Under OS X it supplies power to my iPod, but will not mount it or my external CD burner. There are some kernel extensions installed for FireWire (standard ones), but I didn't add anything else. Does anyone know anything about this? Sometimes when I plug in the iPod, the IO Registry updates. If I use IORegistryExplorer (from the Dev Tools) I see this: http://homepage.mac.com/jayg/PhotoAlbum6.html. It doesn't seem to happen everytime though.
