With Epson coming out with a new line of laser pritners (see the buzz on the front page..something to do with a G5 or something) I have to think that they would include OSX drivers for those printers.
Does that mean, do you think, that there's hope for an OSX driver for my Epson 5700? Epson's website doesn't mention a word about X drivers for its laser printers.
I bought this printer only months before OSX came out and I'd hate for it to be a waste so quickly!

They just released a bunch of new drivers yesterday. I don't know about laser printers. They are available as an update to OSX, I didn't see them on Epson's sight. If you do the Software Update you'll find them.
I'm waiting for a network driver for my 900. No luck yet....

I can't believe Epson finally released an OS X driver for my EPL-5700i. I had given up all hope. They must have hired a new Mac programmer 'cause they've been cranking out OS X drivers like mad over the course of the last two weeks.
Thank you Epson!
I wish I knew who was responsible for this driver. I would want to send them flowers.

Until we get a 3 lbs sub-PowerBook, the 12-inch PowerBook will do.

Yeah, and now it's broken in Panther.
We'll probably have to wait another 2 years. And by that time, the next OS X will break it again.
